Pinball and Coin-op Video Arcade Game Condition Rating Descriptions

Product reviews determine the condition rating value for pinball machines and coin-op video arcade games.  The rating of the condition of a pinball machine or arcade game is not an exact science and in most cases still subjective.  This condition rating system was developed as a guideline to more clearly define conditions resulting from product reviews. 

Premier Amusement performs product reviews on pinball machines and coin-op video arcade game prior to offering them to the public for sale.  Although not perfect, we feel this provides the customer with a better understanding of the condition of pinball machines or coin-op video-games they are considering to purchase.

10.0   Best possible condition, brand new out of the box or barely used in collector's condition

	9.5    Excellent condition, very few flaws, most components like-new, best rating for used machine
	9.0    Excellent overall condition, most components have non-significant flaws, some components like-new
	8.5    Very good condition, most components have non-significant flaws

	8.0    Very good overall condition, most components have minor flaws, one component has a significant flaw
	7.5    Good condition, most components have minor flaws, more than one component has a significant flaw
	7.0    Good overall condition, most components have significant flaws
	6.5    Fair condition, most components have significant flaws, one component has a severe flaw
	6.0    Fair overall condition, most components have a severe flaw
	5.5    Poor condition, most components have a severe flaw, one missing function
	5.0    Poor overall condition, most components have a severe flaw, more than one missing function
	4.5    Very poor condition, severe flaw, more than one missing function, one component missing parts
	4.0    Very poor overall condition, severe flaw, missing functions, more than one component missing parts
	3.5    Non-working condition, critical function not operational
	3.0    Non-working condition, processor not operational
	2.5    Non-working condition, missing circuitry

Premier Amusements originally developed this rating scale for pinball machines.  The content was refined to allow it to apply to coin-op video arcade games.  Other product reviews could be applied to this rating scale as well.
